Gustavo Rivas Plata

Born in Peru and raised in Northern Virginia, Gustavo Rivas Plata is a Territory Manager with Eli Lilly and Company, where he works with healthcare providers to help improve patient care through innovative therapies. He earned his bachelor's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and has built his career around developing strong relationships, solving problems, and helping others. Outside of work, Gus is the 2026 Pennsylvania Regional Golden Gloves Champion.

Before joining the board, Gus volunteered with orphanages in Peru and coached soccer for underserved youth, helping young athletes build confidence, discipline, and teamwork. Those experiences strengthened his commitment to serving others and creating opportunities for people to succeed.

Why Auxilium

Gus joined Auxilium Payee Services because he believes financial stability should be within reach for everyone. He is especially passionate about helping Latino families and retirees connect with the financial education, resources, and guidance they need to make informed decisions and build long-term security. Through his role on the board, he hopes to support Auxilium's mission of helping individuals live with greater independence, confidence, and peace of mind.
